Jasmine offers a variety of workshops from cooking to self-love/healing and more! She travels both the city and the North to offer her workshops. Due to COVID-19, Jasmine is now offering these workshops virtually both live and/or in pre-recorded video especially for your group or community. *smaller in-person/one on one workshops now available too (as of Aug 18, 2021).
For Workplace Education Manitoba, I am trained to deliver several courses, including Communication in the Workplace. I work with adult learners either in the workplace, about to start post-secondary or getting ready for a new job.
On my own I offer:
Journaling: Think journaling isn’t for you? Ever wonder what it’s all about? Let Jasmine show you how to get started on your very own journal. This can include making one from scratch and/or reviewing how to journal and ideas for journaling. Participants will be asked to enter daily entries while working with Jasmine. Wellness for Women: An evaluation as to where you are at with your wellness journey followed up by various methods of self-care. Jasmine brings out various products and her own supplies for this workshop. *Jasmine is an Indigenous woman and does work with traditional medicines. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding what she uses.
Guided meditations: Sit/lay, relax and enjoy. Sometimes it can be hard to ‘shut down’ mentally, especially when we may need a rest most. Guided meditation allows the participant to relax and follow in a comfortable environment. Ideally, this workshop will take place outside where we can feel the breeze, smell the air, and hear Mother Earth. Ancient and Blood memories come to us when we are in our natural environment. The workshop can be done inside, too, and music and other sounds are used to create the atmosphere. Jasmine guides the group and can bring guest teachers when requested.

Cooking classes Jasmine offers a wide variety of cooking classes and specializes in plant-based cooking. She always says many of us already know how to add meats to our dishes, instead she likes to focus on lentils, squash and other beautiful ingredients from mother earth. Seven years experience teaching cooking in Winnipeg’s north end and the North in Manitoba. Ideas for classes are:
Plant-based cooking classes
Diabetes and You – dispelling myths and going through weird food terminology
Parents skills: quick, easy and cheap casserole making
Three Sisters Stew: story and cooking
Cultural cooking (bringing in hunters and fishers to share skills and guide the class)
Willing to collaborate and come up with new classes!
